Moving Past Fear

There are so many ways to move past fear, and so very many levels of fear.

If a low level of fear is keeping you from doing something that you know is right for you, that you know in your heart you should do, consider this technique shown to me by Spirit this week:

Imagine the scenario that gives rise to the fear in you.  Imagine it unfolding in the manner that you most fear.

Now repeat, repeat, repeat.  Repeat until you imagine it unfolding in a manner that doesn’t bother you–or, even better, it unfolds in a manner to which you respond positively.

Remedies for December 28, 2015-January 3, 2016

As we prepare to bring in the new year, our choices come into play more than ever.  Our Heavenly Helpers would like to begin there then move on to some specific selections for your health and wellbeing this week.

Prepare for the New Year

This week is worth a fortune, truth be told.  Make sure you claim yours!

You can start by reflecting on your life and the changes you would like to see in it not only for yourself but also for your loved ones:  Where should you go?  What should you focus on–why are you here and what gift are you meant to share with the world?

As you begin to gain clarity about your direction, your choices also will become more apparent:  What must you do, make, receive in order to enjoy the vibrant life you imagine for yourself and your loved ones?

Capture this moment of possibility with a script that you repeat often.  Seal it with a kiss.  Your love is of the force that can make it happen.

Remedies for the Week

Your remedies for the week may surprise you, bring you joy.

Take for example the flu which is “headed your way.”  Your fear reigns then joy subsides.  Prepare yourself and use discipline on all fronts so that joy can preside:

Wear a hat and coat, scarf, mittens.  Stay warm is the point.  Do not under-prepare or give sway to propriety or aesthetic.  Let function be your guide.

Play soothing music and relieve stress rather than building tension.

Have on-hand top remedies to take at the slightest provocation:

Gelsemium
Eupatorium Perfoliatum
Aconitum
Hepar Sulphur
Kali Iodatum

Your choice is available for you:  will it be joy or will it be fear?

May Love, Peace, and Joy be your guides.

That stuff that’s going around …

There’s a bug headed around the Northwest that can bring a really painful sore throat followed by congestion of varying degrees.  Here are the remedies I’ve seen helpful for that:

If you get the awful sore throat, it’s Lachesis in 30c or 200c.

If congestion with a sensation of blocked ears follows, Kali Iodatum 30c should help.

If you end up with chest or back-of-neck pain during congestion instead, Arsenicum Iodatum 200c worked wonders.

The other thing that is going around is the kind of thing we often find at this time of year, when days can get warm in the sun but evenings are cool, as is the shade or breeze.  So be careful to carry an extra layer with you!  And if you do catch a little something after catching a chill or exposure to cold, dry wind, try some Aconite 30c.  If you then go on to get mucousy, Hepar Sulph can help.

With the intense fears circulating due to current events, Aconite also can be helpful.  If you get locked in a state of fright or shock, Aconite can help make you functional again.  If you don’t take Aconite then and then go on to sprout a sore throat or cold, think of Aconite then!

21 Days of Fantastic: Day 3, Fearless

Fear is occasionally very useful–it informs us when we are not safe and activates us to gain safety.

Thank you  for the gift of fear showing up when I need it and keeping me safe.

When fears show up as anxiety, however, or worries arise at an inopportune time [during sleep, for instance], they can get in the way.  They also can be so long-held or so deep that they act as obstacles to us on the path of life.

For a quick fix to fretting, I have a few little tools I’d like to share:

Ask for Help:  Pray for help removing all unnecessary and unhelpful fears or worries from my mind and from my heart.  If you are looking at deeper, longer-held fears, you can change or add words like, “detrimental” or “self-destructive” — whatever seems right to you.

I sometimes visualize fears being swept or scraped away, too, and I ask that they are transmuted into their light form.

Re-schedule It:  If a thought remains after you have said this prayer and received God’s relief, you could try writing down the worry.  If it is the middle of the night, I roll up the worry / concern / to-do item in a ball and throw it into a time the following day when I can attend to it.  Sometimes I also ask for help from Above with remembering what to do or with how best to resolve the issue.

EFT:  EFT can be surprisingly effective, especially when you know exactly what you need to ease.  So if you are fretting about something specific, you can do EFT on that.  I’ve also done EFT using  “fear” effectively in the middle of the night.

Grounding, lavender oil, and Brazilian Toe Massage all can be helpful too.

Of course, I should add that for more chronic anxiety and susceptibility to stress, constitutional homeopathy can be a wonder.

Here is to being Fearless!
