Weeding: The Homeopathic Healing Process

I see homeopathy like weeding.  You can lop the weed off above ground, but that typically will not get you anywhere in the long run.  It might look like there’s no weed, but there’s a weed.  And a weed root system, linking itself to and nourishing yet another weed.

I like to get those roots and get the whole weed or weed system out so that the other plants can flourish.

So does homeopathy [and some other forms of healing, too, to be sure].

Do you remember the story about my friend’s daughter [scroll down to paragraph 6 in the Oxygen Deprivation at Birth section]?  The first remedy that I gave sweet Miss C was Baryta Carb 30c.  She took that once a month for two years–my friend called those two years “dreamy” because her daughter’s life had become so much more enjoyable with the blessing of homeopathy.  Then, one day last Fall, she said that she was not sure that her daughter was continuing to respond to the Baryta Carb insofar as it no longer relieved the painful muscle spasms.

This place in healing can catch people by surprise sometimes.  Most of the time in homeopathy, it simply means that a change in potency or a change in remedy is needed.  This is one more step on the path to clearing the deeper weeds or another grouping of weeds.

Sometimes, fewer remedies are required in the curative process.  Sometimes even just one.  On the other hand, when you have a considerable ongoing externally induced stress in your life, it is like constantly adding weeds, each of which needs a new remedy.  We can still make headway, but it can be slower going or require additional support.

So, back to Miss C, I checked with my intuition to see whether a higher potency would be beneficial to her or a new remedy.  What came to me was the need for the new remedy, and the remedy was Oxygenium.  This was exciting, because it meant that we were getting closer to the source of the injury / weeds [since the original injury was due to loss of oxygen before birth].

Miss C started Oxygenium and has begun showing some developmental progress, at age 9!  One thing that I have seen repeatedly in individuals healing their brain injuries is that cognition comes alive with homeopathy.  I also am seeing a tendency to move through the same basic stages of development as typically-developing babies and toddlers.

In this case, Miss C began swiping at objects placed in front of her and figured out how to scooch herself off the bed.  This is sooo exciting!  You might recall that a neurologist once gave her 6 months to live for a total life expectancy of 3 years.  That there were 17 no’s due to such significant brain injury before her mom found even one person who was willing to give Miss C CranioSacral Therapy.

Not to mention the number of times and people who assume that Miss C has no cognition, does not truly recognize her mother’s voice, or have the ability to experience emotion.

All underestimating her.

But her mother never underestimated her, and God never underestimated her.

Will you join me in a prayer?

Dear God,

Thank you for this day, this time, and the blessing of this moment.
Thank you for healing, for love, and for all that is for and from Your love.
Thank you for knowing me, believing me, trusting me, and helping me to move forward in this life that You gave me for my betterment.
Thank you for this chance, and thank you for my life.

Amen.

Homeopathy for Brain Injuries

Brain injuries seem to be treated, even by many homeopaths, as untreatable and certainly incurable.  I am here to provide some hope, some ideas, some means.

Immediately

The first, best means to address a brain injury homeopathically is to give Arnica immediately afterwards.  If you have kids who play games like soccer, football, hockey, consider giving a dose or two of Arnica 6c or 30c after games involving headers, tackles, and any other hard contact involving the head.  Arnica 6c and 30c typically are readily available at any health food store like Whole Foods, and it deserves a place in every backpack, briefcase, wallet, glove compartment…  Even for ‘small’ injuries, this can help the vital force address the injury to prevent the cumulative effect.

If the injury is significant, the potency should be higher, such as Arnica 200c or 1M [also called MK or 1000c].  That’s why I carry Arnica 200c on my key fob and 1M in my purse.  If a trip to the Emergency Room is necessary, I would take [or give] a higher potency Arnica en route.

I prefer to get the higher potencies of Arnica either in granules or liquid because that makes it eminently easier to dose in an emergency situation.

Astoundingly, after the birth of my daughter, when she was not breathing, the midwives gave me Arnica but never gave it to her!  Typically, a nursing mother would be considered able to pass minute portions of the remedy on to the child, I surely wish they had given her a dose too.  With the immense fright and trauma surrounding the birth, we all would have benefitted from a dose of Aconite 200c as well [shock, fright].  Perhaps if I’d been given that, I wouldn’t have left my body when they took my baby away.

Birth Injuries

The most common homeopathic remedy for a baby who is not breathing at birth [blue babies] is Laurocerasus.  I also wish my daughter had received that at birth.  In fact, our naturopath did bring it to the hospital eventually, but the doctors there did not understand homeopathy and thought it was an herbal preparation, which they determined to be dangerous.

We did eventually bring a Cranial Osteopath to the hospital, and she made a significant difference for our daughter while she was in the NICU.  I also have a friend whose daughter had a significant brain injury due to oxygen deprivation before birth, and she had to call around but the 17th craniosacral practitioner she called did agree to treat her daughter. I went on to do a couple of years of cranial osteopathic manipulation [COM], craniosacral therapy [CST], etc., and though we did not see any significant lasting forward momentum from it, I have since realized how much it helped with the shape of her cranium, palate, airway, etc.  These are significant benefits that we simply did not notice because we were looking at the more typical milestones like sitting independently, talking, walking, etc.

Recovery

So, say you did not use homeopathy to nip the injury in the bud … Then what do you do?

Homeopathy can be of significant help even if you do not use it immediately after the injury.  Here are a few stories of friends that I have helped with homeopathy years after a brain injury …

Absence Seizures, Drowning:  A friend of mine contacted me for help with her son, who was having absence seizures.  She practiced Chinese Medicine but had not been able to help him.  She had taken him to neurologist after neurologist, and their prescriptions also had failed to help her son.  The remedy I suggested was Nat Sulph 6c.  Because I work intuitively, I often can determine the cause of a problem by intuiting the remedy.  That was true in this case, where I inquired as to whether her son had incurred a brain injury or head trauma, because Nat Sulph is known for seizures and other lasting effects of / from brain injuries.

Indeed, her son had drowned and been revived two years prior.  Though she had mentioned that event repeatedly to the neurologists, each one had told her that the near-drowning had no bearing on the absence seizures.

The Nat Sulph made significant improvements in her son’s life.  The absence seizures were significantly shorter when they did occur, and his mood improved dramatically–he was back to his old self, she said.  This is a common report with homeopathic recovery from trauma and music to my ears, because in essence this is what homeopathy is all about for me–bringing us closer to who we really are.  Lifting and unlocking.

So that you understand the process of recovery, the Nat Sulph 6c was probably not the ideal potency but was all that she had available at her local store and ordering from a homeopathic pharmacy was outside her ‘doable’ range at that time.  So, she had to give him the 6c 3-4 times a day.  When she eventually moved up to 30c, the dosing was also a little bit nuanced and more like every 1.5 days, which was tricky as you can imagine!

This is an example of how progress can be made even with a non-ideal potency but that it requires a little bit more effort.  In longer-term recoveries, my suggestion in such situations would be to use what you have available while ordering a more ideal potency from a homeopathic pharmacy.  Or learn how to do energetic dosing, which can be done anytime anywhere that you can get quiet time–this is its pro and its con.  Sometimes taking the pillule is much easier!

Oxygen Deprivation at Birth:  My daughter was born just 3 weeks after her friend, the one I mentioned when discussing CST above.  Her friend’s brain injury was far more significant than our daughter’s–our daughter’s main injury actually came from a severe overdose of a CNS-suppressant that she actually did not need [it was for seizures, which she was not having and the overdose was so significant that it nearly killed her].

Let me make my long stories short.  I am very well aware that the efforts my friend and I have made for our daughters has made a significant difference in their lives.  It is true that they are not “cured” but it is also true that they have far exceeded any expectations that conventional medicine had for them.  My friend’s daughter is almost 10 years old and still doing new things but was given a 3-year life expectancy.

When my daughter was in the hospital, I was told that she would require a permanent G-tube and never be able to eat via her mouth because she had no gag reflex while she was recovering from the overdose, but she left the hospital nursing, which is the most complicated way for a baby to eat.  When she was 10 months old, our PT told us that we should get a gigantic pediatric wheelchair that would totally tuck her in because we would need a “feeding system.”  She also told me to stop carrying her and stop walking with her [my daughter could walk holding our hands].  Well, we never have had a wheelchair and we never will [and that was our last appointment with that PT too].  We did  use strollers on occasion and now my daughter has a walker.

So on a macro level, you can see how homeopathy, nutrition, energy work, craniosacral work, conductive education, and a more hands-on expectant approach has made a significant impact on our children.  Here are some details on homeopathy specifically [someday we hope to write a book together detailing all of it for other parents who want more for their children than what conventional medicine offers]…

Once she left the hospital, my daughter never did take another pharmaceutical excepting a single dose of a reflux medication.  She was 1 y.o. when she started constitutional homeopathic treatment.    Her first homeopathic remedy was made from Ether.  She went from being a passive participant in life to being actively engaged and participating in play, etc.  When she was 3 y.o., she took a remedy made from the CNS suppressant with which she was overdosed.  She rolled-over by herself for the first time the next day, began sleeping through the night [vs. the waking every 5-20 minutes we had endured the previous 3 years], was relieved of chronic intractable constipation, was able to sit independently, and began walking [with help] sua sponte.  When she was 5 y.o., a homeopathic remedy got her crawling–being able to move herself was a significant change for her.  She also began sitting on her knees because that made sitting-crawling easier, but it had the negative side effect of making it easier for her to walk tip-toed and inward than flat- and straight-footed.  We addressed that with both constitutional and topical remedies, and our OT remarked that she usually sees that issue getting worse, not better!  The conventional treatment we were offered, by the way, involved Botox treatments and slicing the tendons then casting the foot/leg in a 90-degree angle.  Homeopathy also has helped her emotionally–to move past separation anxiety, for instance.  And it has helped in subtle ways, with her ability to use her body ever improving.

My friend used homeopathy for her daughter a little bit with the help of the craniosacral therapist in her daughter’s early years.  Mostly she used Conductive Education.  Her daughter was perhaps 7 or 8 years old when she mentioned to me that her daughter was chronically congested and tended to get sick come Fall.  Sometimes, Spirit just hands me a remedy on-the-spot, and that’s what happened then.  Baryta Carb popped into my head.  She started her daughter on Baryta Carb 30c, about one dose per month.  Here’s some of what she noticed from the remedy:  Significantly fewer spasms, ability to sleep longer and with about half the amount of sleep medication at night, more easily contented [able to stay upstairs by herself, for instance], more engagement at school, willingness to eat at school.  She also started a birth trauma resonance, which gave her daughter the ability to fall asleep quickly [rather than the typical hours it took] as well as significantly improved bowel movements and the ability to move her hands in new ways.

So ….

In my experience, homeopathic treatment of the individual can prevent, manage, relieve, and even progressively cure injuries to the brain.  In situations where few conventional options are available, it is especially wonderful to have choices.  Homeopathy can reduce our reliance on pharmaceuticals while improving our overall state because homeopathy treats the individual, and in and of itself that makes it worthwhile to me.  When you add to that the joy with which healing occurs, the improvements made that are otherwise considered impossible and implausible, or the gains made at a speed that astounds, as well as the unlocking of a person’s joy and personality, I surely hope that if you or someone you know suffers from a brain injury, you will consider homeopathy as one option for healing.

21 Days of Fantastic: Day 18, Freshen

I am a big fan of fresh air.  Are you?

Don’t let cooler weather deter you from bringing fresh air into your life!

I open the windows just a crack in our bedrooms in the Winter.  This allows fresh air to consistently freshen the air in the rooms where we spend the most time and freshen the sheets [I leave them open to the air] while reducing the damage from Winter precipitation and also keeping little ones safe [experts recommend that windows can be opened no more than 4″ when little ones are in the house].

By golly, even the animals enjoy that little bit of fresh air.  You’ll see them nosing around those window cracks in Winter for sure!

Even a walk or talk outside is good for the lungs most of the time [check with your doctor!].  It’s fascinating to see in homeopathy the number of colds, coughs, and flus where the person is better in “open air.”  Then there are headaches, stomach pains, even photophobia!  A quick search of all the rubrics describing symptoms that are ameliorated by open air yielded 536 rubrics!

OpenAirAmeliorates
A sample of rubrics where the open air ameliorates.

Freshen the air, freshen your life.

Freshen the air that you breathe,

Freshen the life that you lead.

Freshen the words that you speak,

Freshen with light not heat.

Freshen it all and you will see

The life you lead is sweeter than sweet.

21 Days of Fantastic: Day 7, Forget Forgiving

Forgiving is a beautiful choice when you can make it, but I think that we have a lot of baggage associated with the word, the concept, and the action.  There are so many definitions of what it means to forgive–and what it does not mean to forgive.  I just barely use the word any more.

So, when I feel wronged now–and I’ve thrown my fair share of pity parties!–this is pretty much how I handle it:

I often shield myself if I still feel vulnerable.  Otherwise, I simply remind myself of my connection to God.  [Using the Protect & Ground method described on this post.]

I sometimes follow this with various ideas of why the person might have acted that way, trying to accept that a person simply may not have the resources to have behaved better.  I also look at my responsibility in the matter and what I could have done differently.

So, for instance, yesterday a child pointed at my daughter and laughed, nudging her friends to join in.  Is this because my daughter has wronged her by having difficulty with walking and moving her body?  No, most likely it is because the girl has seen or experienced being teased for being different.  In a certain way, mocking others is a protection for her.

Here’s another example.  I write an email to someone and don’t hear back.  Is it because I’ve offended her or because she simply didn’t have the time/thoughts/space to respond?

Oprah opened my eyes to this, actually.  She was talking about a scenario like this with Sarah Ferguson–that Ms. Ferguson assumed a non-response meant she’d done something wrong.  But Oprah said, “It’s not always about you!”  I found that shocking and offensive until Oprah explained that sometimes there are other things going on in a person’s life that interfere with or interrupt what otherwise might occur in a relationship.  Good point!  It isn’t always about me [or you]!

Then I pray for the other.  The first time that I undertook this, it was really hard!  Someone had been deeply hurtful to us for many years.  We committed to a daily prayer for one month for her, and we could hardly think of anything to say.  I literally posted on a Facebook page asking for help.  Someone–a stranger–suggested that we pray that the person be lifted up out of fear.  That made sense, that fear is basically the basis of harmful choices [including the overdose given to my daughter, BTW!].  So we started there — that the person be lifted up out of fear and eventually added that she would be able to open her heart.

My go-to prayer, then, is something like this, “God, please lift this person up out of fear and open her heart so that she might fully know the joy and love of Your presence in her life.”

Finally, sometimes we need this prayer for ourselves!

21 Days of Fantastic: Day 6, Stretch

I have found that a little bit of stretching is beneficial to body, mind, and spirit.

Stretch Your Body:  Stretching before we get out of bed is actually good for us!  Before I get out of bed, I spend a moment to bring God into my heart.  I like to follow that up with a Sun Salutation.  [Here’s one that is longer than the one I learned.]

At the end of the Salutation, I say a prayer asking that God light my path and help me to serve Him in all that I do and all that I say.

It is helpful to stretch throughout the day, as well.  The Mindful Moon app sometimes includes that suggestion, or you could add it to your list of beneficial alternatives to anything you are doing that is unhelpful to you.

Stretch Your Mind:  Constantly learning stretches the mind.  For me, it’s more than just factual knowledge.  Stretching the mind can be about stretching the heart.  Keep an open mind, keep an open heart, and that helps me to stay free of judgment.

Stretch Your Spirit:  Some years ago, I got stuck in a place where I felt I couldn’t take my kids to the playground by myself safely.  After reading a synopsis of Cheryl Strayed’s book, Wild, I took a concept from it…Just put one foot in front of the other.  It’s a bit like staying in the moment.

Just stretch your comfort zone a little tiny bit.

So I figured out two small playgrounds that were enclosed and where I could park nearby–that way I could keep a good eye on my young toddler and his shenanigans with his much older [but helpfully safety-minded] older brother while helping his older sister move her body.  With the car right there, I had a safety net nearby.  I decided we’d stay for only 45 minutes so that I wouldn’t max-out [in body, mind, or spirit].  It was incredibly liberating for all of us.

Before I sign-off, remember to be safe — even stretching sometimes needs medical clearance, so check with your doctor first.  And make sure you stretch your spirit safely too!

Herbal Medicinals Get Amped with Homeopathy

Though we describe homeopathy as the principle of curing symptoms and disease using the concept that Like Cures Like, there is one itty bitty but important exception, in my experience:

CalendulaForms
Calendula Tincture, Homeopathic Calendula, My First Aid Spray

Herbal medicinals that are beneficial in plant form see their benefits amplified in homeopathic form.  Arnica is used as a component in massage oil, for instance.  Calendula tincture is widely regarded for its assistance in healing wounds.  Echinacea is an immune booster.

So if you find yourself disappointed with a tried-and-true medicinal’s performance in a given situation, consider the homeopathic remedy made from that medicinal.

I will give you an example.

My youngest, probably 3 years old at the time, tripped and fell chin-first into a sharp corner of a short table we used for kids’ crafts.  I keep a homeopathic combination in a spray bottle that I call First Aid Spray–it is useful for cuts, bumps, that kind of thing.  I pulled it out along with some gauze and dabbed the cut on my son’s chin for a while then held him through a nap.  The cut was closed and not swollen, so when my son was up-and-at-’em after his nap, I thought all was well.

However, when I brushed his teeth that night, I saw that the gum inside his mouth (inside where the cut was on the outside) was injured too, and it didn’t look great.  I took him to the doctor the next day; she suggested an Echinacea-Calendula wash and some oral herbals to boost his immune function but by day’s end, his gum looked infected and certainly no better.

So in a moment of inspiration, I grabbed my First Aid Spray, which contains three homeopathic remedies including Calendula, pulled his lip down briefly to let the gum dry out a smidge (therein allowing the remedy water to be more readily absorbed into his gum), and spritzed.  It typically takes the sprays 10-15 minutes to show results.

Within 10 minutes, his gum was no longer swollen or red, and the puffy white gash that had been on his gum just looked like healed gum tissue.

Here’s another example…

I’ve long used Ecinacea to support my immune system.

Echinacea Goldenseal Tincture, Echinacea Propolis Throat Spray, Homeopathic Echinacea 30c & 200c
Echinacea Goldenseal Tincture, Echinacea Propolis Throat Spray, Homeopathic Echinacea 30c & 200c

Way back in 1995 I likely had undiagnosed [my doctor told me it was in my head] mononucleosis.  Eventually, I insisted on testing and she found the titers for mono, indicating that I had had it and my immune system had tried to fight it off.  Having worked full-time during that period, I ended up with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and my immune system got finicky.  I typically needed 9 or more hours of sleep, but after that, if I ever got 7 hours of sleep or less, I’d get sick [like flu sick].  If I ever had coffee, even decaf, my lymph nodes would swell up and I’d be down for the count.  So I looked for immune boosters and ended up figuring out that if I took Echinacea Purpurea or even Angustifolia [but it had to be the root] and Golden Seal [a nice boost but the Echinacea was more mandatory, the Golden Seal merely helpful] at the very first sign of illness [typically a certain feeling in my throat], I could ward-off the illness.

I’d been using Echinacea [except during pregnancy and nursing] for at least 10 years, then, before I ever used homeopathic Echinacea.

I was sick.  Really really sick.  The most bizarre aspect was that no matter how many covers I put on, I could not get warm.  There I lay, with layers of clothes and layers of blankets, shivering in my heated house!  When I talked to my homeopath-at-the-time, John Melnychuck, he suggested I take homeopathic Echinacea.  I think he said this super-chilliness reminded him of typhoid, actually, and that I should take the homeopathic Echinacea.  I do not even know why I had that remedy, but for some reason he had sent me some previously so I did.  Within 15 minutes of taking it, my body was able to regain its temperature and I was swiftly well again.  I was absolutely amazed.

By the way, I now use an herbal Propolis Echinacea Throat Spray [now called Soothing Throat Spray] at that very first sign of throatly discontent–mainly if I catch a chill–and the results are generally quite good.

Laptop – A Pain in the H**d

Two isn’t a perfect sample size, to be sure, but by the analytic power invested in me through three years of law school, I am pretty certain of this one:  For pain in the palms, wrist, and forearm due to overuse of the laptop ‘mouse,’ try homeopathic Phytolacca.

LaptopMouseCause of Pain:

Doing a lot of work using the mouse that is on your laptop [as opposed to a separate, corded or wireless computer mouse] which results in pain in the palm of your hand, or in your wrist and forearm.  So, that would be the kind of project that involves a lot of scooting items around, moving this here and that there.  Maybe a presentation like on PowerPoint, or in my case specifying track breaks while I was digitizing my husband’s vinyl collection as a surprise for him.  Drag, click.  Drag, click.  Scooch, click.  Scooch back a bit, click.

The pain feels like a knotted muscle, like if you could just massage it out, it’d be fine.  But massage as you might, it just hurts, hurts, hurts.

Alleviation of Pain:

Homeopathic Phytolacca in 30c, taken as needed to treat the pain, alleviates the pain nicely.  I have also used Phytolacca 200c, but if you catch it early enough, 30c should be sufficient.

If you are going to continue with the type of scroll-and-select work that requires a lot of mouse work, you’ll probably want to get an ergonomic mouse, too.  But I am not an expert on that!

More on Phytolacca:

Phytolacca is widely available at health food stores in the Boiron homeopathic displays [the little blue plastic vials] and also can be beneficial for sore throats and mastitis [I’ve used it successfully for both, too].  Yet another example of the many different uses for a single remedy.

Is Your Pain Physical?

This whole body-mind-spirit thing can be wondrous, confusing, or even whacky-sounding.  Sometimes, the connection doesn’t seem like such a leap–you know that your chronic cough started when you suffered the loss of a loved one, for example.  Emotional causes for things like the flu or a strained back can seem less obvious.

Here’s an easy way to tell the difference:

If you throw out your back or develop a stiff shoulder for no apparent reason or while doing something that is not that far out of the ordinary for you, it often has a non-physical cause.

Here are some examples, all of different people whose backs went out:

Someone’s back goes out while taking care of her daughter like she has done daily for three years.  All sorts of bodywork from chiropractors to cranial osteopaths fail to produce lasting results.  Finally, her homeopath treats her for her emotional state of feeling unsupported, and within an hour she can see a visible difference — and get some lasting relief.

Someone’s back goes out while reaching for something under the grill.  Hobbling in to a lunch meeting the next day, his lunch partner wonders how heavy those steaks were!  The homeopathic remedy that helps is Rhus Tox, known for issues involving ligaments and tendons, where the pain is worse on first motion and better with continued motion — and for mental exhaustion.  No surprise, this gent is at the end of a long and arduous project at work.  [Also not a surprise that it happened just before a weekend, when his body knew he could slow down a little bit to heal.]

Someone’s back goes out while throwing her ball for her dog like she does virtually constantly for her black lab puppy.  Her back is stiff and better for lying on a hard surface.  The homeopathic remedy that helps is Nitric Acid, which helps back pains like hers.  And people needing homeopathic Nitric Acid have some pretty deep trust issues typically going back to their childhoods.  At the time her back went out, these trust issues had reared their heads because she was trying to re-mortgage her house.

I believe that being aware of the emotional or mental issues giving rise to our physical ailments opens up additional possibilities for healing.  Just letting emotional pain see the light of day helps.

But if we can stay grounded and face the truth, it also can help us to acknowledge and release the causes of our pain.  The correct homeopathic remedy will help you do that, too, as will a host of other healing modalities such as EFT.  Sometimes, it’s even reassuring to know that it is … well … all in our heads.

Overdoing It [and Homeopathy to the Rescue]

Stomach upset?  Muscles cranky?  Maybe even surprised to be hungover?

When we inadvertently overdo it, homeopathy can ease the consequences.  Try to learn from your mistake, though, and make an earnest promise to yourself that you will take your lesson to heart!

Tummy Ache

If you are nauseated and just plain feel icky, ask yourself whether you had too much coffee or tea the day before?  If so, homeopathic Chamomilla will help.

Spirit tipped me off to this when a friend of mine called me feeling awful one day.  Spirit told me she needed Chamomilla, but that is typically considered the domain of teething babies.  So I looked it up for her and discovered it can be helpful for ailments resulting from an excess of coffee or tea.  Sure enough, my friend said that the day before, she’d had twice the amount of a “mocha freeze” she typically drank as a treat.  Some time later, another friend called me for help and again Spirit told me Chamomilla would help her; sure enough, she’d had a surprisingly strong cup of green tea the previous afternoon in addition to her usual cup of morning coffee.

And if your stomach is upset after too much or too much rich food, Nux Vomica can help.

Achy Muscles

If you have undertaken a new workout, or you overdid an old one, leaving you with tired, sore muscles, you could try a dose of Arnica 6c for some relief.

Hung Over

If you are reeling from too much alcohol, or the consequences thereof, homeopathic Nux Vomica can help you detox [you can try it if you have trouble detoxing after laughing gas at the dentist, too].

Homeopathic Corpse Reviver

The other day, my dog soaked in the sun and the fresh air, came inside, made his way upstairs to me, and sat down.  He was panting in the middle of Winter, and every once in a while, he would just stop breathing.  His eyes were glassy and seemed difficult for him to keep open.  For a long time, I sat with him, loving on him, thinking that this was our good-bye.

He is 8 years old in a breed that generally lives 15 years or so, but a year ago he had a severe reaction to a vaccine.  He almost died, but I treated him homeopathically for the vaccine injury.  Still, his health has not been optimal since then.  Cynthia Slon had recently warned me that his aura was detaching from his body.  Not a good sign.  But at least it prepared me for the day where he sat with me trying to have what I thought was his last breath.Doggy Love

But on that day, he was holding on.  So after some time, I fetched the Homeopathic Corpse Reviver from my collection.  I gave him a 6c, and he stopped panting and walked around for 5 minutes after that.  But then the breathing issues started back in.  So I gave him a 200c.  That was the end of that.  It’s probably been a month, and he has had only one short episode of panting and coughing since then, which quickly resolved on its own.

The No. 1 Homeopathic Corpse Reviver is made from vegetable charcoal and called Carbo Vegetabilis.  It’s available at many health food stores and in the Helios self-care kits, where the Accidents & Emergencies kit has a 200c.
